The President of the Volunteer Association has a voting seat on the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Board of Directors.

GROVES HOSPITAL VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION (GHVA) BOARD NEEDS YOU!
Do you have some spare time and want to give back to your community? Why not support our local hospital by volunteering on the Board of Directors for the GHVA. The Board of Directors is currently looking for 2 dedicated volunteers, preferably with experience in communications, finance/accounting and community involvement.
The GHVA financially supports Groves Hospital through its two retail operations - The Fergus New To You Store and the Hospital Gift Shop. Our 200+ dedicated Volunteers have raised over 4.2M to support the purchase of much needed equipment at Groves Hospital. Be a part of a great team! GHVA Board members meet once per month with an expectation that successful candidates will also have a role on one or more of our committees. Your energy, expertise, caring and knowledge can make a difference in your community.

Our volunteers make a difference! Thanks to the time and commitment of each of our volunteers, the GHVA continues to thrive after 90 years of service.
As President of the GHVA, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to our many volunteers who support our organization, and in turn our community hospital, in so many ways - at the hospital, in the Gift Shop and at our New To You Store. The hard work of our volunteers and the support of our community members has meant we have been able to steadily move toward our goal of donating $1 million dollars to the hospital by 2026. To date, the GHVA has donated $419,500 that has been used to purchase much needed equipment in each of the departments.
We can be proud of the work we do and can look forward to many more years of volunteer service in support of GHVA and Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Thank you, again, for your many hours of volunteer work.
