Join Our Team: Part-Time Retail & Donation Coordinator

New to You is seeking a motivated, organized Part-Time Retail and Donation Coordinator to join our team! This role offers $18/hour, with 24 hours per week. The schedule is typically 4 shifts of 6 hours each (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) on weekdays, with the occasional Saturday as needed.

What You’ll Do

Pre-Sort Duties:

• Receive and organize incoming donations.

• Pre-sort donations and greet/assist donors.

• Follow waste management protocols.

• Support and communicate with volunteers in pre-sort and back sort areas.

• Recycle packing materials from sorted donations when possible.

• Lock/unlock storage trailers and other areas as needed.

Cash & Front of Store:

• Assist with cashier coverage during routine operations.

• Merchandise and organize the retail area.

• Train with the management team to learn all aspects of the business and support where needed.

Back Sort Area:

• Support departmental overage areas by sorting, cleaning, pricing, and displaying donations.

• Oversee, assist, and troubleshoot POS terminal issues.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Social Media:

• Spend 3–5 hours per week sharing in-store sales, events, incentives, and news across social media platforms.

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

• Comfort with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn retail operations.

• Basic understanding of social media post creation and how to publish content.

• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

Compensation & Hours

• $18/hour

• 24 hours per week (4 shifts of 6 hours [10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.] on weekdays, with the occasional Saturday as needed.)
